I love watching paint dry and getting close enough to see it deciding what it wants to be, or how I might make it behave. This is liquid paint, swirled, dripped, poured, and layered. I am fascinated with paint, especially while it is still wet. The forces at work here, both natural and induced, are powerful and surprising. My challenge is to approach this exchange with the fluidity and spontaneity of the paint itself. My goal is to reveal the limitless beauty of abstracted forms through the physical properties of the medium.
